September 15th – October 15 is Hispanic Heritage month and the theme for 2021, Esperanza: A Celebration of Heritage and Hope invites us to celebrate Hispanic Heritage and to reflect on how great our collective tomorrows can be when we embrace our resilience and hope while encouraging us to reflect on all the contributions Latinos have made in the past and will continue to make in the future. We will be taking several weeks to amplify the voices and the presence of the Latina powerhouses in our community.

Dr. Dinorah Nieves pushes for growth and balance in the emotional, financial, social, spiritual, occupational, physical, intellectual and environmental sectors. A former mediator, counselor, advice columnist, and university professor, Dr. Nieves has spent over a decade helping people to reach their highest potential - both personally and professionally. She has engaged student minds at Fordham and Pace University and has presented on topics ranging from "The Impact of Poverty" to "How to Form and Maintain Healthy Relationships."
